A Beautiful MessI look around me And see nothing but catastrophe Everything is a blur And nothing seems to be clearingA Beautiful Mess
I hit the ground so hard It seems like there’s no hope I see the mess around me And I find it hard to cope
Every time it seems like I’ll rise above it all I end up slipping, tripping And then down I fall
It’s hard to find Any hint of beauty When everything Just seems so ugly
But I stand up None the less On this ground A horrible mess

I wish I didn’t have to see you. I wish I didn’t feel this way. But just the very thought of you, Takes my breath away
The way you look at me The way you say my name Makes the sparrow in my heart flutter With an undying flame
I want you to go away I wish you would be anywhere but here So why does the sparrow in my heart Soar in joy when you are near?
